Programmes for High Schools

All our programmes for high schools are designed to serve students through educational presentations, small group lead discussions, and class activities.

True Friendship & Real Love

Year 10 (Recommended)

One Hour Session.

This presentation aims to encourage students to critically think about what true friendship and real love really are.

These are both foundational ideas that work as a stepping stone to better understanding the Catholic Church’s teachings on sexuality.

Our team of well trained young adult volunteers have a heart for God and for service. As young adults we know first hand what it’s like to search for these truths in today’s world.

The presentation focuses on breaking down these two quotes…

“True friendship consists in mutually perfecting one another and drawing closer to God.”

-St Teresa of Jesus

“To love is to will the good of the other.”

-St Thomas Aquinas

The 1-2 hour session includes interactive games, quizzes, activities and plenty of opportunities for questions and small group discussions.

Gianna’s Choice & Mobile Life Centre

Year 11 (Recommended)

One Hour Session

Gianna’s Choice is the pregnancy centre of Family Life International. This programme for schools will provide students with an opportunity to learn about the precious gift of life beginning at conception. And the option of touring our Mobile Life Centre.

Theology of the Body (YOU)

Year 12 (Recommended)

Two Day Sessions (10 periods)

In an age of “selfies” and egocentrism, YOU cuts through the noise to present an authentic view of the human person. It presents young people with the extraordinary story of their creation as unrepeatable individuals. But the program doesn’t stop there. YOU. Life, Love, and the Theology of the Body introduces teens to the truth that life is not, in fact, all about them; it is about going out of themselves to be a sincere gift for others.
